ACS has portable rodent anesthesia carts available for rent by investigative staff in multiple locations. These portable machines are equipped with an isoflurane vaporizer, oxygen, induction chamber, nose cone and scavenging system.
Cart Locations
- BMS (available for use with in the BMS barrier facility)
- CGRC (available for use with in the CGRC barrier facility)
- COMM/HSC (available for use in ACS procedure space or IACUC-approved investigator laboratories)
Due to limited availability, a request must be submitted to reserve the Portable Rodent Anesthesia Cart. Note that requests need to be submitted at least 48 hours in advanced and are subject to availability.
- Requests will be confirmed via email
- Investigative Staff are responsible for providing their own isoflurane

- A fee will be charged for requests submitted less than 48 hrs before the requested reservation time.
