ACS has one anesthesia machine equipped with an isoflurane vaporizer, oxygen, rebreathing and non-rebreathing circuits, anesthesia mask and scavenging system. This machine is available to investigative staff for rental and use in ACS procedure space or IACUC-approved investigator laboratories located in the Vet Med Metabolic Building (VMMB).
- To reserve the VMMB USDA Anesthesia Machine a request must be submitted at least 48 hours in advanced and is subject to availability.
- The machine will be in brought to the VM-7 procedure room by ACS staff at the start of the reservation time.
- Investigative Staff are responsible for providing their own isoflurane and any additional supplies needed for their procedure.
