Next Book Club Selection is …

Join the Employee Wellness Book Club to read new books, have valuable discussions, and make some friends along the way! Our next round of book club will start March 3rd, and we’ll be reading The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett. Looking well beyond issues of race, The Vanishing Half considers the lasting influence of the past as it shapes a person’s decisions, desires, and expectations, and explores some of the multiple reasons and realms in which people sometimes feel pulled to live as something other than their origins. Named a BEST BOOK OF THE YEAR by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time, NPR, Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, GQ, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and Glamour. Our Book club will work through this title together and meet weekly to share our thoughts. Meetings are virtual (Zoom) on Wednesdays from 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
